Hip Intro Blog
In this blog series, we will be visiting many of the basic stretches provided in an AIS treatment. This clip will introduce you to the first stretches I start with on the majority of my treatments. You should be focusing on the client being active and how we stabilize the body to isolate the intended muscle group being addressed.

Calf Stretches
This 2 minute and 11 second clip will demonstrate 2 primary stretches for gastrocnemius; one position on the table and the other leg raised up with the knee locked. The higher you raise the leg the deeper the stretch will be so adjust the leg hight and the pressure to the comfort of your client.

Hip Extensor
In this clip, you will see the importance of using a stabilization pressure to minimize rotation of the lumbar spine. You will see two distinct different movements both addressing different muscle fibers directions.
Hamstring Stretches
In this clip, you will see how to focus on the dispel and proximal aspect of the hamstrings with the femur in a neutral position. Remember, the client should activate the hip flexors to initiate a signal for the hamstrings to let go
